'Verso l'isola di Murano is a commentary on the vulnerability of a dying city slowly returning to the sea.
Exploring balance in the midst of movement, I achieved the sense of busyness though the use of layering - the under layer appears as white shapes with rust colour texture through gaps in the top dark, aquatint layer.
